VinCru Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company, wholly owned by the Muir family.

 

We are HACCP accredited and source quality products from around the world, with a focus on sourcing locally wherever possible.

 

We’ve got you covered with over 50 distribution outlets across Australia and New Zealand – and one located in most of the major winemaking regions.

VinCru History

When Edward Eric Muir established his business E. E. Muir & Sons in 1927, at the Victoria Market in Melbourne, he began a family enterprise that has now grown to cover all of Australia, through its many retail outlets.

 

After Eric Muirs’ retirement, his son Max continued to develop and expand the business and was joined by his two sons, Ric and Ian in 1969 and 1975 respectively. Under their combined direction and leadership, this family owned company has grown to be a major supplier of farm services and inputs.

 

The winemaking division, later named VinCru, was first established in 2007, with a dedicated Quality Assurance department created in 2010. Over the years that followed, VinCru continued to grow and has become one of the largest suppliers of consumable products into the Australian Wine Industry.

 

VinCru Pty Ltd became a separate entity in July 2022, continuing to distribute through E. E. Muir & Sons and other key distributors across Australia and New Zealand. We now have a focus on expanding further into the Food & Beverage industry while also moving into other industries.
